Wild Rice Sulfate Update Webinar

Join the staff of the Coalition of Greater Minnesota (CGMC), Minnesota Agrigrowth, and the Range Association of Municipalities and Schools (RAMS) for a webinar on recent developments regarding the implementation of the Wild Rice Sulfate Rule. If your city or business owns a wastewater facility that discharges upstream of waters that potentially grow wild rice, you may be affected by the implementation of this rule. 

This free webinar will take place on Thursday, February 12 at 1pm. During the discussion, our presenters will explain what the Wild Rice Sulfate Rule is and how the implementation could affect your wastewater facility. Staff will then turn to recent regulatory activity and the work that our collective groups have been doing on this issue along with recent changes announced by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA). The webinar will conclude with some high-level advice on what permittees should be doing and leave time for questions.
