CGMC 2026 Legislative Action Day

Description

The Coalition of Greater Minnesota Cities (CGMC) will hold our annual Legislative Action Day on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at the Radisson Capitol Ridge in downtown St. Paul. Throughout Legislative Action Day, attendees will hear from CGMC staff, legislators, and government officials, and have the opportunity to meet with their own legislative representatives to advocate for the priorities of Greater Minnesota cities. Tentative agenda

9:00am - Check-in begins at the Radisson Hotel

10:00am - Welcome & Overview of the Day

10:15am - Programming

12:00pm - Lunch Served

1:00pm - Lobbying at the State Capitol complex

Attendees are responsible for making their own appointments with legislators.

Appointments

Attendees are responsible for scheduling their own appointments with legislators. You can use this tool to find the legislators that represent your city and their contact information. We highly encourage you to reach out to your legislators as soon as possible to let them know you will be coming and to schedule a time and location for your meeting. There will be time set aside in the agenda from 1pm until 5pm for meetings with legislators.

Due to construction on the State Office Building, House members and staff have been relocated to other buildings within the Capitol Complex. Be sure to leave yourself enough time to find their temporary office. Keep in mind that meeting space may be limited. You are welcome to invite legislators to meet you at the Radisson - however, please note that there will not be private meeting space available.

Hotel

For those who want to spend the night in St. Paul, a block of rooms is reserved for the CGMC for the nights of Tuesday, March 24, and Wednesday, March 25, at the Radisson Hotel. Click here to book under the CGMC block. The room block will expire on March 3, 2026.

Check in will begin at 9am at the Radisson Hotel - St. Paul Downtown.
